Fast forward to the 1980s as Wonder Woman’s next big screen adventure finds her facing a wide array of foes including: Max Lord and The Cheetah.
The opening scene in the mall is bit cringy, and the attempt to squeeze in a second villain was even more cringy. The worst is when they decided WW needed a love interest in the movie and forcibly created one. WW is a symbol of independence and feminism, the whole notion she cannot be happy without a man in her life runs counter to that. Later, Diana chastises her coworker for loaning out a stone, but she feels justified to take a museum plane for a ride. Hypocrite much? The first movie felt really inspirational, but this one, it was just sadness in so many ways. If you are a fan of Pedro Pascal or just enjoy seeing Gal Gadot, who is as gorgeous as ever, go ahead and watch it, but the movie itself is rather weak.
So Marvel can be goofy, WW can't?

Marvel 9/10 can be goofy, never make sense oh and yes DC also. Yet when Iron Man or Batman do it , well its fine. Now when WW1984 does, OMG HATE! Anyway great film, better than the first story wise, just not as inspiring. Still worth saying "great".
It could have been better...

I can see why so many people didn’t like this movie, but I don’t think it was as bad as they said it was. I’ve never seen a DC movie in my life, so I can’t really compare WW84 to any of them. I only watched it because Pedro Pascal played Maxwell Lord and it just so happened that my family rented it, so I was like “what the heck”. I braced myself for the worst, but “the worst” didn’t really happen.
The plot line was weird, but interesting. The mall scene was so corny and cheesy it almost made me ill. The acting was okay. Diana and Steve didn’t have a ton of character development. Max Lord wasn’t much of a villain; he kinda just got carried away with his new powers. Barbara AKA The Cheetah was a super dry character at first, but her transition into a villain was pretty cool. I tried to just enjoy the movie for what it was. I felt like the entire film should have been thought over more, though.
Best dc movie yet
What would a man have?
This movie was wonderful. I regret not buying it when it was 7.99 on sale cause of all the bad reviews from people who think it wasn't good. I always look for symbolism in movies. This has great symbolic meaning. My title was for what would a man have? It's biblical in that what would a man have if he gained the world and lost his soul? This movie gains that answer and at the same time addresses the greatest relationship, a father and son. Spoiler alert the villain realizes nothing he has is as important as the love he has for his son. He gives at all up for that back and at the same time Wonder Woman gives up her love being alive again to save the world.
You will love this movie if you voted for Hillary and you believe there are more than two sex’s. Maybe for a sequel they could storm Epstein’s island looking for Monica’s stained dress. Hate to burst the woke Metoo bubble but Wonder Woman didn’t get her powers from her mother, they came from her father Zeus… a MAN
I am just lost as to how we started so strong, and got here to 1984 which is an extremely questionable sequel :(
Who couldn’t like this about a woman wonderful
Directed by a woman wonderfully done with a supporting role by a wonderful actor. Just a Wonder Full Film.

Wow are you kidding me. This is supposed to be a modern superhero movie. The last movie had great storyline, acting and special effects to match. It just throws me how this movie had great acting by the superhero and absolutely NOTHING else. Definitely 1984 level special effects. Are you kidding me guys ? I feel sorry for the star, she was not supported by everything else that should be seen in this type of move. I have to wonder how DC put this film out.
Potential was squandered. The only thing this movie can try to bank off of is the lead actress, not her acting, but her looks (she’s so hot!)
