I have been a fan Genndy Tartakovsky’s work since I was a small child and he is still yet to disappoint. I truly believe Primal is some of, if not, Genndy’s best work. The show itself if beautifully animated and the story captures you and leaves you hooked even with the absence of dialogue. Amazing art style, smooth animation, great soundtrack, a must watch, and a must buy. 10/10!

Halfway through the first episode, I thought to myself, "Genndy and the team are channeling Frank Miller at his peak here," and I've not seen anything to cause myself to revise that statement. PRIMAL is the most refined minimalist storytelling that I've seen from Western animation, as demanding of your attention as the world surrounding our main characters is of them. It's certainly not for everyone, but if you're in its wheelhouse, it's an absolute masterpiece.

I don’t usually like this particular style of animation but I am completely stuck on this show, the fact there is no spoken dialogue is quite interesting

The animation is absolutely amazing. Genndy’s design for the show builds and builds until it explodes Tarintino style. The characters come to life without a single line of dialogue spoken. Definitely a must watch!
  • Better than Samurai Jack

There is something to be said about a beautifully crafted show with no dialogue that has crept up to the top of my list of favorite animated (or otherwise) shows. This is something special.
