Armed with only one word—Tenet—and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.
GREAT NOLAN EURO-SPY/SCI-FI FILM
Nolan has created a riveting, fast-paced Euro-spy/SciFi flick. You must see it twice or more to totally understand it, so I bought it. Excellent cast, fabulous cinematography. eerie music. John David Washington is superb as a black James Bond, Robert Pattinson is likewise great, as is Elizabeth Debicki & Ewan McGregor. Forget the low ratings because they only saw it one time. "Inception" & "Tenet" require multiple viewings. Five MYSTERIOUS Stars. (RBSProds)
Saw this in IMAX and I swear I could feel the score in my bones. Great visuals, awesome score, loved the premise. I didn’t get it first time but I’ve watched it a couple more times and I like it more every time. If you put in the investment of watching it again maybe with subtitles, then I assure you anyone can like this movie.
At first is very complex to understand whats going on, but later the movie cleared all that we need to know. Well done!!
A big mess

So regret purchasing this. Whole thing was a big mess.
If I was in a theater, I would have walked out. Looks beautiful, but the story is confusing and goes nowhere. Just bad.
Had a good direction
Made it about 35 minutes in, and was still confused on what was going on with the story. The acting is cheesy in regards to who they picked to play the roles.
Future past or present or all in one
Best movie i have seen since COVID 19 hit
Not the best Nolan film for me, but still worth watching several times over
My biggest issue was the pacing, but everything else was great! Anyone that gave it lower than 3 stars was too dumb to understand. They probably thought it would be a straightforward affair like the Dark Knight trilogy. Boy, were they wrong!
I still feel bad for anyone that fell asleep or walked out of theaters during Interstellar. This film would be remembered as even more underrated than Interstellar! I know because I went through the turnstile in the future. 😉
Cool action, unintelligible plot

Huge Nolan fan here. What a disappointment, this one missed the mark entirely. Usually Nolan films are reference quality audio and video. The audio mix on this one is absolute garbage. Muffled dialogue in a film where you need to hear every word to have any hope to understand the plot, completely ruins it. At the end, I had no idea what was happening or what I had just watched. It’s definitely a film you need to watch twice, I just have zero interest in doing so. This was almost as bad as Revolver or Mulholland Drive, you will walk away disappointed and feeling like a moron. Just know, you’re not dumb. This film is dumb. I’m so bummed. I gave it two stars just for the action scenes being entertaining to watch on a high fidelity system.
